Manufacturer Installation Recommendations
- Install the air terminal base and air terminal to the structure first.
- Slip the Tripod Brace over the air terminal, through both of the center holes in the brace until the feet are resting on the roof.
- Using both hands, one leg at a time, bend each leg of the tripod brace out, away from the air terminal.
- Continue bending outward until the top of the brace is one inch above the midpoint height of the air terminal.
- Again, using two hands, holding the casting that is riveted to the brace, bend the bottom of the brace outward until the casting sits level on the roof.
- Secure each of the brace feet to the structure with appropriate adhesive.
